Consideration of City Council Schedule.

ISSUE: City Council Schedule.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
1. Receive and approve the updated FY 2022 City Council Schedule which includes:
• The Special Public Hearing Town Hall on the City Manager Position, which is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers;
• The City Manager Candidate Interviews which are scheduled for Wednesday, November 3 and Thursday, November 4 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Location to be determined);
• The City Council Joint Worksession with the Planning Commission and ARHA on Tuesday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Durant Center;
• City Council Executive Session with the City staff and Resident Committees on
Thursday, November 18 at 6 p.m.;
• Dates for upcoming FY 2023 budget worksessions from February 15, 2022, through May 2, 2022;
• Budget Public Hearing on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers; and
• Budget Adoption on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers;
DISCUSSION: It is planned that all Council Legislative and Public Hearing meetings from July 6 forward will be in-person meetings, with public hearings having a dual in-person and electronic participation component for those members of the public who wish to speak to Council.
