Receipt of Annual and Attendance Reports for Council-Appointed Boards, Commissions, and Committees for July 1, 2019 - June 3, 2020.

ISSUE: Receive the annual and attendance reports from boards, commissions, and committees.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council receive the reports from Council appointed boards, commissions, and committees from July 1, 2019 - June 3, 2020.
BACKGROUND: Boards, commissions, and committees are required to submit annual reports and attendance reports to the City Clerk and Clerk of Council for submission to City Council for review. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, the deadline for submission was extended until September 30, 2020, in order to give boards/commissions a chance to meet to approve their annual reports, if necessary. Attachment 1 is a compilation of annual and attendance reports received from boards, commissions, and committees. The reports include information from each board or commission detailing activities, major events sponsored by the committees, recruitment plans for new members, and attendance reports.
