Consideration of City Council Schedule.

ISSUE: City Council Schedule.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
1. Receive the updated City Council Schedule for September 2018 to June 2019 which includes:
• The City Council/School Board Joint Visioning Session 2 which is scheduled for Thursday, September 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the ACPS School Board meeting room (1340 Braddock Road);
• The City Council Retreat is proposed for Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9 a.m. at AlexRenew (1800 Limerick Street);
• The 2019 Volunteer Appreciation Event, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. on Market Square; and
2. Approve the City Council Schedule.
DISCUSSION: Please note that the FY 2020 Budget Work Sessions and Special Budget Meetings (Red) have been added to the Council Schedule from February 2019 into May 2019. The schedule mirrors that of the most recent budget schedule.
