Consideration of City Council Schedule.

ISSUE: City Council Schedule.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
1. Receive the updated June 2018 City Council Schedule, which includes:
• The Installation of the Patricia “Patsy” Ticer Plaque on Saturday, June 23 at 8:30 a.m. in the Market Square Lobby;
2. Adopt the updated City Council Schedule for July 2018 to June 2019 which includes:
• The Annual Citizenship Day Ceremony, which is scheduled for Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. on Market Square;
• The Days of Remembrance Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 12 p.m. on Market Square;
• The City Council Installation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 7 p.m. at T.C. Williams High School; and
3. Approve the City Council Schedule.
DISCUSSION: The City Council Schedule for FY 2019 has been structured very similar to the current year schedule and includes dates for VML’s Annual Conference, NLC’s Annual Conference, and the Annual U.S. Conference of Mayors Annual Conference.
