Consideration of City Council Schedule.

ISSUE: City Council Schedule.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
1. Receive the updated City Council Schedule which includes:
• The Leonard “Chick” Armstrong Recreation Center Naming Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, January 19 at 7 p.m. at 25 W. Glebe Road;
• A City Council Meet and Greet of the ACPS Superintendent designee Dr. Gregory C. Hutchings, Jr. is scheduled for Saturday, January 20 at 8:30 a.m. in the City Council Workroom;
• A Joint Work Session with City Council with the Alexandria City School Board on Monday, January 29 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Alex Renew Enterprises (1800 Limerick Street);
• A Joint Work Session with City Council and the ARHA Board, and the Planning Commission on Monday, January 29 at 8:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at Alex Renew Enterprises (1800 Limerick Street); and
• A Joint Work Session with City Council, the ACPS School Board, and the Joint City-Schools Facility Investment Task Force on Tuesday, January 30 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at Alex Renew Enterprises (1800 Limerick Street);
• The Virginia Municipal League Day which is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Richmond, Virginia; and
2. Approve the City Council Schedule.
