Consideration of the City’s Legislative Package for the 2018 General Assembly Session

ISSUE: Adoption of the City’s Legislative Package for the 2018 General Assembly Session.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
1. Adopt the following items, as recommended by Council’s Legislative Subcommittee and members of City Council as set out in Attachment 1, for inclusion in the City’s Legislative Package for the 2018 General Assembly Session: items A.1 through A.14, B.1 through B.3, C.1 through C.4, D.1 through D.5, E.1 through E.4, F.1 through F.10, G., and H.; and
2. Consider whether it wishes to add or remove any other items to the Legislative Package.
DISCUSSION: On October 24, staff presented to Council the City’s 2018 Legislative Package proposals. A public hearing on the Package was held on November 18 were additional proposed items were recommended by Councilmembers.
