Invitation to Nominate Committee Member - New School Facilities Naming Committee.

ISSUE: Naming of the 1701/1705 Beauregard.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council determine the method to fill a seat on the School Facilities Naming Committee for the purposes of naming 1701/1705 Beauregard.
BACKGROUND: Earlier this year the Alexandria City Public Schools purchased 1701/1705 Beauregard in order to repurpose this office building and related parking garage into a new elementary school. The School Board has requested (see attached) that the City Council nominate one person to serve on this ten-person committee. Council needs to determine how to fill this committee position.
