Consideration of City Council Schedule.

ISSUE: City Council Schedule.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
1. Receive the City Council Schedule (Attachment 1) and the Proposed FY 2018 Council Schedule (Attachment 2);
2. Approve the FY 2017 Council Schedule for May and June; and
3. Docket the Proposed FY 2018 Council Schedule for the June 13, 2017 Legislative Meeting.
DISCUSSION: It appears that the June 6th “hold” date for a City Council meeting will be necessary to utilize for Council Work Session topics due to the number of key issues that are coming to Council in June. Please note that the 2017 to 2018 Council Calendar is also presented including the USA/Alexandria Birthday Celebration which is scheduled for Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Oronoco Bay Park (100 Madison Street).
