ISSUE: Public hearing on the proposed City Legislative Package for the 2016 General Assembly Session.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
(1) Hold the public hearing on the attached Legislative Package; and
(2) Adopt the Legislative Package on Tuesday, November 24.
DISCUSSION: For the past several months, staff has been working with Council members, City departments, and boards and commissions to develop legislative and funding proposals for the City’s 2016 Legislative Package. Thirty-three such proposals are described in Attachment 1; all of them have been approved by Council for the public’s consideration.
