Consideration of City Council Schedule.

ISSUE: City Council Schedule.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
1. Receive the revised Council Calendar (Attachment) which includes:
· A Special Public Hearing on the Waterfront Implementation Plan, which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers;
· The 2nd Annual Santa Aboard the King Street Trolley event will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 14 at Market Square.
· A reception for the 30th Anniversary of DASH/ATC, which will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Vola Lawson Lobby;
· The Alexandria Commission on Persons with Disabilities Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Vola Lawson Lobby; and
2. Approve the calendar.
DISCUSSION: Please note that the date of the Potomac Yard Park Dedication has been changed to Saturday, December 14 at 8:30 a.m.
Representatives of the Alexandria Transit Company/DASH have requested that the Mayor and City Council join them for a group photo at 9:20 a.m. on Market Square to help commemorate this annual event.
