ISSUE: City Council Schedule.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council receive, review, and take formal action upon the following items:

(1) Approve the Fiscal Year 2026 City Council Look-Ahead Schedule that includes:
* Moms Demand Action Wear Orange Rally scheduled for Friday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. John Carlye Square (300 John Carlyle Street)
* ACHS Graduation Ceremony scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 8:45 a.m., EagleBank Arena (4500 Patriot Cir, Fairfax, VA 22030)
* APD Public Safety Summit scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. (Virginia Theological Seminary (3630 Bishop Walker Circle)
* Juneteenth Celebration scheduled for Friday, June 19 at 4:00 p.m., Charles Houston (901 Wythe Street)
* DASH On-Route Charger Groundbreaking Ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. West Alexandria Transit Center (6001 Duke Street)
* 9th Alexandria Pride Fair scheduled for Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m., John Carlye Square (300 John Carlyle Street); and

(2) Accept the official City Council Calendar for the period spanning June 2026 through December 2026.

DISCUSSION: Legislative Meetings and Public Hearings of the Alexandria City Council are being held in the Council Chamber at Del Pepper Community Resource Center (4850 Mark Center Drive, Alexandria, Virginia, 22311) and electronically. Members of City Council and staff are participating either in-person or from remote locations (under the electronic meeting policy). This will give the public the ability to provide public comment (during public hearings) to City Council through a video conference call on Zoom or in-person.
