RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
(1) Approve the City Council Look Ahead schedule to include the following:
* Citizenship Day, Friday, September 12, 2025, 1:00 p.m., Market Square Plaza, City Hall
* Constitution Day, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, 1:00 p.m., City Council Chamber
* Virginia Municipal League Annual Conference, October 11 - October 14, 2025, Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center, Roanoke, Virginia (three or more members may be in attendance)
* National League of Cities City Summit, November 20 - November 22, 2025, Salt Lake Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, Utah (two or more members may be in attendance)
* Annual Holiday Tree Lighting, Saturday, November 22, 2025, 6:00 p.m., Market Square Plaza, City Hall; and
(2) Receive the City Council Calendar from September 2025 - December 2025, including the following meetings (including budget development dates):
* DASH (ATC Board)/Council Stakeholders Meeting, Wednesday, September 10, 2025 5:30 p.m., City Hall, Sister Cities Conference Room
