ISSUE: Consideration of City Council Schedule.
RECOMMENDATION: That City Council:
(1) Receive the updated City Council Schedule:
· The Alexandria Jaycees Community Appreciation Night has been moved from Tuesday, March 5 to Thursday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Sister Cities 1101.
· The Tuesday, March 26 legislative meeting and worksession are being moved to Wednesday, March 27 in recognition of Passover (same times and locations apply)
· City Council Retreat on Saturday, March 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the T&ES Operation Center at 2900 Business Center Drive
· FY 2014 Budget Calendar (See Attachment 2)
· Alexandria Arts and Economic Prosperity Announcement on Tuesday, March 5 at 8:30 a.m. at the Old Town Theater at 815 King Street; and
(2) Approve the Council Schedule.
