Receipt of Annual and Attendance Reports for Council Appointed Boards, Commissions, and Committees for July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021.

ISSUE:  Receive the annual and attendance reports from boards, commissions, and committees.

 

RECOMMENDATION:  That City Council receive the reports from Council appointed boards, commissions, and committees from July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021.

 

BACKGROUND:                     Boards, commissions, and committees are required to submit annual reports and attendance reports to the City Clerk and Clerk of Council for submission to City Council for review.  As with last year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,  the deadline for submitting reports was extended beyond the August 31 date in order  to give boards/commissions a chance to meet to approve their annual reports, if necessary.  Attachment 1 is a compilation of annual and attendance reports received from boards and commissions. The reports include information from each board or commission detailing activities, major events sponsored by the board/committee, recruitment plans for new members and attendance reports.
